This SHOCKED me
Couldn watch (working) but looking at the stats, he really did CRUSH 'em.
He and Haas will be pretty interesting in the semis.
I gotta pick Gonzalez after this showing.

I prolly am the biggest Federer fan alive, so even tho I've never seen Roddick
play this well, i'm sticking with Roger. VERY tight match, i say in 5.

Clijsters and Serena in the other final imo.
Serena is easily my most dislkied women's player (Roddick in men), but
DAMN she is tough, especially when she's down.
Lets just hope she somehow loses, cause i cant stand to see he win again.
Her arrogance, if possible, would reach a new height

I don't see why people dislike her so much, she's a good player and gets very into her matches; she isn't as arrogant as I think she could be. Her outfits are outrageous and she's intimidating but so what? I initially wanted Clijsters to win and I still do but from now on I hope Serena gets back on a roll and crushes people right and left.

I agree... too much hype surrounding Roddick. In fact, if Roddick somehow manages to beat Roger, I'll consider it the upset of the tournament.

watching federer up close, i'm convinced that he steps up his game when the situation warrants it.

i worked 4 consecutive federer matches at last year's US Open, from gicquel through to the semi against davydenko. Blake match was most intense, most challenging for Federer, but the bagel that Federer threw against him, he just was insane. I think Roger loses a set here and there to make things interesting for himself.

his shot making against guys with big servers (and all others in general) is just too amazing. every match i worked, i was in awe about how quickly he goes from defense to offense. it really does take a phenomenal shot from an opponent to beat federer.

i think roddick's game has improved since working with connors, but now that he doesn't serve the 140-150 mph bombs like he did two years ago, i think federer can pick him apart quite easily.

HA! Are you serious?
NOT AS ARROGANT AS YOU THINK SHE COULD BE?????
Wow....In that case, how arrogant can Federer be then? Yet he doesnt show one drop of arrogance - light yrs ahead of Serena...

I dont think anyone likes/respects arrogance - really, how could anyone?
Why would you (not you, anybody) appreciate anyone who continually claims they are better than others?
LACK OF RESPECT
It has nothing to do with her outfits btw, or her intensity.,
Its all about her attitude.
She literally has NO class or respect, especially when u compare her to others.

She doesn't continually claim to be be better than other players and disrespect them. She doesn't underestimate the players she plays and you can tell by the way she competes. Serena believes in her capabilities and perhaps people misunderstand her. I don't know about being classless because she doesn't give me that vibe...she's kind of dumb but oh well I like her as a tennis player and possible role model.

Federer doesn't have the same type of personality as Serena and he is great but I don't think his competition is as high as it could be...I'd take Sampras in his prime over Federer in his prime.

serena has swagger when she was at her prime, but her attitude doesn't show that she's arrogant
