The thread is too long to read, but i'll say this, most studies on child development point towards having caring and warm parents (regardless of sex) and being placed in a medium to high-er social-economic-status home as being more important. Having two mothers or two fathers is negligible. A warm and supportive relationships with two same sex, educated, and mentally healthy parents will go a longer way than being placed with a father and a mother. As a side note too, father and mother as we think of it currently are more of roles than anything related to sex, so most of the arguments in this thread are inconsequential.
