I'm a smoker and I agree. I like to smoke but I don't like smokey air. At first when they brought in the smoking ban I was annoyed but I've come to realize that a smoke free club/bar is more pleasant to be in. I don't mind the cold, I get pretty hot dancing anyway so I just go when I need to cool off. The only downside is I tend to smoke more then normal because I'm going out to cool off so much and if I'm outside I want to smoke. Outside is better for socializing too, it's not so loud.

Holy fuck. This is getting so old already. Did you even read the thread? I don't remember reading any posts by straight people saying that they didn't want gays at Sonic. All we're saying is that it can be a little bit annoying when you're one of the only ones wearing a shirt in a sea of shirtless men. Stop exaggerating.

Everyone should just accept that Sonic is going to have gay people there and move on. I think the crowd that has been at Sonic on Saturdays since the middle of December has been amazing. Hopefully the great bookings and the mixed crowd who is there for good music and a good time continues.

Maybe at peak hour this is an issue, but the time when I saw the most people smoking was when it was past 7am. At this time, it was very easy to see who was smoking as there wasn't many people in the club, and a lit cigarette emits a very strong smell. There were no bouncers walking the floor. As a matter of fact, I walked around trying to find a bouncer to tell the assholes to put it out, but I couldn't even find any. This happened more than once on Saturday night.
