That about right?
Yay for American democracy!
Holy shit you've got the be all and end all opinion on what is right or wrong. Obviously you have the absolute truth and only you can be correct - everyone single other person that doesn't agree is clearly just manipulated by the media and should leave the country! If everyone listened to you we wouldn't need freedom of speech. All hail the Oracle!
Great for you, but are you prepared to stay there until the average Iraqi's quality of life is at least back to the level it was at before you went in? Or are you just happy to go in destabilise it, realise how many soldiers you'll lose in discharging your responsibility to restabilise the country and let everyone else clean up your mess?
Have you conducted a wide survey accross Iraq, or are you just basing that conclusion on the three pics you posted? Until I see something concrete I'm not willing to conclude anything about popular opinion in Iraq.
Speaking of concrete evidence, I haven't seen any that links Iraq to Al Quaeda or suggests that the US invasion did anything to make the world safer. Do the few extremists they kill over there outweigh the Muslims that have become radicalised because of the invasion?... again I've seen nothing concrete. |
Friggin brilliant post, a perfect example of "pwn4g3", a most definitely worthy of a nomination to "ZING of the year"!!!!!!!!!!!

And that is as it should be, because Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life’s change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new. Right now the new is you, but someday not too long from now, you will gradually become the old and be cleared away. Sorry to be so dramatic, but it is quite true. |

In response to your first question: No, that's not what I was saying at all. It has nothing to do with the fact that America is a democracy and people have the freedom to speak their minds. I was merely saying that if you are unhappy here- why stay and bitch about it, why not move to a place where you're more happy?
Concerning the rest of your post- no I don't claim to have all of the answers, but I have done quite a bit of research on the subject and I've also come to the conclusion that the media never tends to report positive things as much as the negative because than there really wouldn't be much of a story.
As far as the 3 pictures I've posted, no- I haven't based my opinion solely on those- in fact, I've been deployed and I've seen a lot of positive changes take place overseas. Problems, of course- but that's to be expected when you have muslim extremeists that want to kill everyone who doesn't believe in their religion and way of life.
As far as Iraq being linked to Al-Qaeda. Yes! I believe that Iraq is and has been linked to Al-Qaeda- and I've posted only a few of many sources that support this.
