lol
In all seriousness, I was an intern for a few months at the Ottawa Citizen and studied print journalism and other stuff, so yeah, press releases aren't too difficult to me. Whoever wrote that did lots of consulting with Stereo ppl (obviously). Agreed, it was well written, very clean and concise with good flow, good transitions.

Couple parts which made me lol a bit ...
"Stereo is by no means affiliated to illegal activities"
"Stereo is a collective of artists operating for other purposes than generating a profit."

So like I said depending on if your an NCM or Officer and your rank, you probably make at least $50,000 a year but most likely more. And depending on if you live at CFB Kingston your cost of living is probably very low as well, but even if you weren't cost of living in Kingston isn't that bad. Its only $30 which is cheaper than most nights at Stereo. Most of us on here who post about Stereo have put out probably hundreds and hundreds of dollars clubbing there just this year alone, and have never really complained for the most part. I know I sure as hell have.

It was in the Metro paper this morning...
Article summary: the SSMI (or SSIM, I forget now ) could not put forth an actual number of people...kinda wierd imo. If they were so keen on shutting down the place, the least they could do is supply a # as to how many people over capacity Stereo was that night/morning.
The article also said that this wasn't the 1st glance at Stereo either. Stereo said they felt cornered b/c there are sooooooooo many other clubs who are over capacity allllll the time so if u're gonna make a rule about enforcing capacity laws, apply it to every club, not just Stereo.
Makes sense to me.
