A few friends of mine came to Heaven in Ottawa to see him play with me just cuz I asked them too. They don't like techno AT ALL. They all stayed for the whole set. He threw down the tech, but it was more trancey. At one point in the time club all had their 'hands up in the air' to the trance... lol.
I don't know how he will play in NYC, but you may be surprised by what he does end up playing. (I know I was in Ottawa, but only cuz I was waiting for banging techno.)
