The crowd was really getting on my nerves last night. Chanting Armin while Blake was spinning, FOR THE SECOND FUCKING TIME. WTF people. But other than rude clubbers and sketchbags falling all over everyone, I had a decent night.
Armins set was... well... the same as usual. Ended up wandering around A LOT, especially during Armin and Yahel.
Came back for Sanders set which was fucking awesome, couldn't stop dancing the entire time.
As for being crowded, its no comparison to LOL 06 or Armada Night.

Overall I had a blast but was a little disappointed that Sander got only 2 hours. Oh well, hopefully they'll get it right for LOL 08.

my two cents,

like it or not;

arim - bollocks
SVD - meh!
danny T - " i didnt come here to play madonna" best quote from a DJ ever IMO, but his first hour was amazing then he lost me, too monotone and couldnt keep up momentum

Got there around 12 waited in line for no more than 15-20 mins.

The people i went with are trancers so i was in KH most of the night and I enjoyed Yahel's set more than armin's and sander's by far.

what i caught of 16bit was really solid.

but the hour or two i caught of DT i was really impressed, especially around 7-8ish this morning. f*ckin LOVED that chuggy prog house. did anyone else think that the harmonica/sax samples sounded amazing at 8am? lol

the man knows his shit.

good night all in all.

oh, and i took some wicked pics/vids that i will post later.

The party was busy, but it needed 500-800 more people in the whole complex.

And I only paid $45 to get in around 3:30, so I actually saved money by not buying an advance ticket. How odd is that?

Fair enough, can't pelase everyone all the time I guess. Sure Control Freak is waaaay overplayed, but it's still got the hard techy sound, and when THE MAN himself drops it... it makes it that little bit better than normal

All in all a phenominal night... Guvy continues to outdo themselves in creating an experience rather than just an ordinary clubnight. Hats off!!!

Lolitas was ok, hot and cold and mixing was a little sketch but definately enjoyed the set. Danny T was interesting, really only gave him an hour which doesn't do him justice. I thought Armin was fluffy and garbage, considering the amount of new music he has access to he didn't play anything that sounded new, current or interesting.
SVD played the set of the night I thought... banging and gritty, well mixed and had emotion in the right spots. Yahel kicked ass too, I never heard psy trance that I considered good party music, but it was bumpin... vocalist was great too, really tight show they MUST have rehearsed it alot!

Overall amazing times, been a while since I've been that connected to the music at a party. Great seeing all the TA's out and thanks to Nada and Ali for the preparty action!

I'm glad everyone had a great time though!!

dont worry hun it was the rising star remix that he played he played the new remix by chiggal that was on asot 314 lol, wasnt anything fantastic, i think he should have played gouryella remix of binary finary at the end personally if was djing lol

but armin blew me away when he threw down platitude by onova, and big skym, and when he played rapid eye circa forever rapid eye remix WOW fakken awesome set armin
