It may have been because the club I played at earlier in the night had a DJM 600 and relatively rough monitors that skewed me in favor, but man oh man did I feel like I played better at afters than I did in the club.
I'd recommend it over the DJM 800 in a heartbeat.
Wow, good review. Might look into demoing one of these when it hits my music store.

Loads of things are simply the same numbers as the price in the States with the $ sign changed to a £ sign, making it about twice the price if you go by the exchange rate... but apparently our average wage is higher (again, going by the exchange rate) and our minimum wage is about double the minimum wage in the US.
And btw I know you're in Australia not the US, I'm just giving the States examples as I don't know anything about your economy
lol, I'm from the USA, but I just picked a random flag because... um... I'm a test tube baby?
I made that up.
Anyways, yeah, fucking weak.

Oh it's not even Oz issit, it's the wonderful inbred world of the Pitcairn Islands, where rape of 7 year olds is a popular pastime. Scary place.

I dont think you can really say that its over priced, you get a lot for your money.
Xone 42 - £600
2nd hand efx - £130
DJM 800 - £1000
you do the maths...
Just a guess from your pictures, but do you live in Kentish Town?

The only thing to moan about is that you don't seem to be able to use the LPF and HPF at the same time...maybe I'm wrong..fantastic mixer for that price.

Sure you can. You simply press any combination of the filter buttons you want to apply, and they light up. Same as the 92.
Unless you mean using them independently on different channels, in which case you need the 92 to do that.

Yep..that's what I ment...you can only use HPF on all...or LPF on all..that's not a big deal though...sometimes I like to use LPF on one and HPF on the other to mix in/out..especially when one track has really agressive highs and the other is relaxed. I'm using a Xone 3D.
