When was the constitution written?
It was based on some good ideas, but like fixed religion it needs to change with the times. Religion is based on good ideas, and principles that are set out to guide mankind, and give hope. The problem is over time fixed religion has been corrupted and taken to the extreme.
This is what you're doing with the constitution, and its what religious extremists do with religion.
I understand your point of view now. You don't give two shits about the Constitution as the law of the land. I totally understand you now.. If more people subscribe to this view, we'll be a police state in no time!

BTW, this country is a land of immigrants. What happens in other parts of the world effects the families of the people who migrated to America. Furthermore, America is the most generous country on the face of the planet. Don't ask for proof, b/c if you don't know as much shame on you - look it up. So when we see the money that we send not going to those in need, but rather to tyrants in power, and when we see that things are further deteriorating then we try to act upon it.
Clinton did something about the situatio9n in the Balkans, and even about little Haiti. Sadly the US can't be everywhere at the same time, but yes we're the superheroes of the world. America is the lone superpower out there today, and despite all its faults is the one that tries to make the biggest positive difference on the global stage.
Can't say the same for Iran, North Korea, or Cuba. Can you?
Clinton operated under international law, something your friend Bush does not do... I never have doubted America serves good purposes throughout the world. But when the negative activities we partake in overtake anything good we have done, where does that leave us? Backwards...

Let me guess - you want me to take the psycological evaluation in Iran since this country is so biased.
Go back to a decent school, learn how to read, and stop posting "sources" from anti-government/conspiracy theory websites. They have their own agenda, and obviously put their own spin on things.
Lay off the smoke pipe, go get laid, and lay on the beach tommorow.

Now he's going to ask you for proof about Clinton, and he'll prolly ask me for proof that western media takes advantage of the Associated Press.
At some point he's prolly gonna say that tranceaddict.com is a propaganda tool and to prove him otherwise.

Let's have some fun with some of these conspiracy theories.
I think I uncovered something huge...maybe this is how the US government makes so many people drop out of high school. They force our media to play certain songs, and the 5 major corporations ensure that these are played in every major market: http://youtube.com/watch?v=vum3qgoh0x4
After hearing that song the kids are so brainwashed into spending all their time crankin that soldier boy, YOU!
Or maybe, just maybe, enough people just like that shit that they've been requesting it in the clubs and calling up their radio stations.
Nah, it can't be. That'd just be too far fetched

If you really want to follow the letter of the law, the US Constitution is technically an illegal document.
The Constitutional Convention's mandate was to make a revision to the Articles of Confederation, not to create a radically different document. Technically, the Founding Fathers overstepped their bounds, and thus your pinnacle of law and order was born in illegality.
You refer repeatedly to the Constitution and the principle of self-determination, which is fine, but they aren't unassailable ideas. No ideas are, especially those imperfectly conceived of by man.
