I clarify to say that it is easier for non- edm peoples to relate to compared to the other genres. I like house and trance, I'm not hatin'!

Edit: Dani, you know I wouldn't say something to mean that!

I play right in the middle (dirty house at about 135 bpm).... Housey enough to have attitude, but fast enough to still get your blood moving...(which you'll see if you make it there for opening set)

i can't really agree with you here. i started with chicago/hard house and then moved onto trance.......now im more house/tech/minimal but still like it all. i think the majority of edm'ers start off with trance then matured into house and techno. most hard core trance people hate on house more than house people hate on trance. trance used to the shit but because of a lack of tallented productions it doesnt get the support from the house scene like it used to.....and im not turning this into a trance vs house thing either......i know there are still worthy trance producers out there......we all know who they are. im just saying IMO....fresh house beats are more abundant these days.

All your points are valid but what exactly are you looking for?

Quantity or Quality

I for one prefer quality over quantity all day every day.

LOl, I agree with this too; my statement for of a philly generalization - not the rule.

I don't think we're trance vs. house - ing at all; just discussing 'trends' LOL
