I doubt Ultra will add another big trance act like above and beyond or thrillseekers or rank 1, atb, etc. because it just doesnt seem to be their focus anymore. I think 2005 had the best of trance from them and that was it since.

Also Daft Punk would be great as the "live" thing, even though they arnt live. I dont think there should be a live big name that isnt EDM play before Tiesto friday night. Just get a good act and thats it.

Here is to hoping there will be more trance... 'drinks one shot' 'another shot' 'another shot' - 'few more and loses count' 'passed out'!

Are there any age limits to ultra ? Is it worth coming from LA to there ? How are the after parties?

From LA i dunno as i think the festivals there are way better and more rave oriented than ultra - ultra is more of a rock concert ish event just with electronica. The setup is weak, etc. Stick to EDC and what not. But i think its fun none the less. Its no LA festival by insomniac events but its still fun. I love the festivals as they differ from the club scene. The two are totally different and festivals are well- festivals. It isnt purely about the music. Its the experience as a whole. If your under 21 I would wait for phase 2 before deciding if you should make it over. If the acts blow you away on phase 2 go for it. Youll have fun. If not, have fun with the amazing LA events.

I am down for the experience as a whole ...I am 19 yrs old and I plan on going with a few homies.. I think I should go if anyone has any reason why i should or shouldnt go please let me know !

If its the experience - def go. People here will bash Ultra but for lame reasons like - oh it has under 21 people... etc. Stupid shit. The sound is alright - its no club but no shit, i mean its outdoors. The only thing that dissapoints me is the stage set and production. The main outdoor stages are poorly designed and the lights and lasers are non existant for the most part. Just standard lights. The Carl Cox tent however is known for the production - prob only thing at ultra that is. Other than that, its all cool. I know ill be at Ultra - hoping for both days if the lineup gets better.

How in the hell could the lineup get better ? lol

Iv been going to WMC before being 21. It isnt bad at all especially now that Ultra is two days. Besides Ultra, there are many kick ass free events you can get into where even big named djs from a top 100 list will dj. Also the vibe in miami is just great in general that week as the place is pretty much electro city. Cars blast out EDM, flyers everywhere, even food joints place EDM. The beaches are packed, the eye candy is well.. you see for yourself when you get there haha. As for getting into clubs, if you dress the part and slide a 20 with a purchased online ticket they will probably let you in.
