This question does my head in. It hurts trying to think about it. It's almost impossible to describe. The only way you could do it would be to describe blue as being cold, and red and orange etc being hot. You couldn't really describe black. You could associate it with darkness but they've never seen dark/light either.

I guess colours are absolutely irrelevant to someone with no vision so it doesn't matter. Still...an interesting question.

i think thats true. assuming that when we close our eyes and see darkness/black is the same experience of a blind person, then the only color they would know is black. color wouldn't necessarily translate into feeling such as orange being hot, would it?

How do we know that when you see blue, I'm not actually seeing the colour orange? And when you see orange I see the colour blue?

perception and preconditioned knowledge.. so u were told what ur looking at or experiencing as blue or whatever color.
