Yeh, I always wondered why we can't have events like this year-round and not just during WMC. Why not? If you spin it, they will come...to The Kingdom! Maybe it's just me, but I think if you have awesome line-ups like this, there should be no problems...

***BTW, what time is everyone showing up to this tonight? I was thinking around 11 or 11:30.

Some time-slots have changed btw. I don't have specifics, but don't be surprised if you show up and someone different is on.

Retrobyte (Christopher Norman) will be on from 12-2 in the side room

kinda sucks when u get to a party at 6pm and the parking lot has 3 cars in it including mine.

i was about to leave till i saw groove eric. then we just chilled till the place opened. at 9!!

erics set was great. although i left right after cuz i was beat from a days work and walking bayside for 2 hours b4 the club opened.

i was expecting to listen to more djs play but poor event managing screwed it up.

hopefully theres a next time!!

i hope the rest of the event was bad ass

Got there around 10:00 PM and was pissed I missed Groove Eric, because from what I've heard of his sets, they are unique and killer. Not many people were there yet, but when 12:00Am hit, the place was starting to get a good crowd of people in there. Metropolis is a big place. it's not the nicest of clubs, but who really cares as long as the DJ's are good, right? I'll tell you one thing, The sound system is LOUD as f!ck! My ears were ringing when I left and I am still deaf!

John O' Callaghan was pretty good, but nothing too exciting. The guy who spun before him was pretty good as well. Overall a pretty good night of music, but nothing amazing... I wish I could have stayed for Jon O' Bir, but there was no way...

The bartenders really mix STRONG drinks, so the $10 each is well worth it!

I'll make a mini review here...after almost 2 years of hibernating. This party was full of empty spaces. I really don't get why people don't go. Its a shame. Major problem was that there was no Jon O'Bir...at 5am they turned the lights on and kicked everyone out. The drinks were really good I had 3 long islands and was housed.

That sucks, I guess they cut it short cause the turn out was so poor? Was gonna hit this up but was sooo tired from pawnshop the previous night. Although the line up was good in our eyes I don't think it was strong enough to appeal to the masses. Maybe this show would've been better at a smaller venue on the beach?

yea the lineup was good for the people who know them. i told my friend JOC was gonna be there and he was like who?? and who?? and who?? oh groove eric ahhh niiice!!!! lol

when i left i looked over towards space as i was passing by and my god there was a huge crowd in front of space trying to get in.

with as big as this lineup was it couldve been at 2 or 3 smaller venues on the beach.
