I thought Gerber was the difference maker. He made 49 saves!!! Without him, the Sens would have lost 10-3! You're right on the wraparound he was a little out of position, but he was solid for most of that game. He had no chance on the skyora tic tac toe from Crosby and Malkin also. And what alternative do they have? Emery? Maybe we'll see him for game 3 for a big shakeup back in Ottawa??
If anything, I'm rooting for the Sens to knock off the Pens. I'd MUCH PREFER to face the Sens in a later round, rather than having to face Pittsburg! But at this point, the Sens look toast. Spezza looks like he's playing injured and Heatley can't do much with Martin Lapointe as a useless winger.
