They played Tejada - The End Of It All @ Coachella and after the set Dave said that was a bootleg he made in ableton.

I neglected to add that it sounded pretty much exactly like the original.

That's all he did. I made the same edit in 5 minutes because I thought it sounded OK.

Then I got bored.

It's a well known fact that they they didnt get to be the dj's they are nowadays coz of their mixing but imo they always had an extremely good track selection.

I disagree. When you're just playing your own tracks every fucking day "trackselection" pretty much goes out the window.

Dunno about this case as I wasn't there, but Dave plays acapella/vocals over other tracks all the time....from when I've seen him do it, he actually plays the vocals out of a CDDJ and not through ableton...only the music from Ableton.
