All this speculation about Anakin killing Padme or her death causing him to turn to the darkside can't be right! Their kids (Luke and Leia) were hidden from him for a reason right? Why would Obi-Wan have hidden them if Anakin wasn't already on the dark side? I don't really see how Anakin could even know about them other wise he surely would have searched for them when he became Vader no? I could be wrong...

Offically, the best part of the movie was when I realised Anakin was going to kill the Tuskan Raiders. That was fuckin' cool.
Second best was Yoda fighting, that goes without saying.


People are always so sad when they realise that cuttle 'iddle Anakin turns into mean old Vader. But really, he's sofa king cool.
and you guys know it, damn right. The prophesy about him was that he would bring balance to the force, which was misinterpreted by the jedi that it meant the Light Side. Nope, the Sith had been dormant for hundreds of years and the dark side was in retreat (as far as I know) and Anakin was destined to be Evil. Word.

Number 3 is going to be absolutely awesome. The final battle between Anakin and Obi Wan..
That, and Hollywood will have another 3 years to develop some even more crazy ass special effects. Those were truly shroom worthy.


The movie on a whole was alright. 3 stars, we'll say. The script was sub-par, actors we mediocre, line delivery was hilariously bad, and the love sub-plot stank. But aside from that, I liked it. I'm just being overly critical, really. The movie was fine.. there was just so much room for potential.

Is Anakin supposed to be already converted before Obi pushes him into the lava, heh, I hope so.

hahahah can you imagine he hadn't turned? It's obviously going to happen during the final, hype, fight that Ben and Anakin will have in ep. 3. That makes sense. So Padme may not be killed? She runs away after Anakin switches sides and then gives birth (Anakin didn't know she was pregrant). This would explain why Anakin never searches for his children.

But I still find it more likely that Padme is killed to enrage Anakin...

Something is wrong here. How can Vader not know he had a son?

I mean, he had 2 kids (Luke and Leia) -- How could he not know about the first if he stuck around long enough to conceive a second child?

Obi Wan will fight Anakin.

Sustaining grievous injuries at the hands of his former master, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Vader required cybernetic enhancements and replacements to sustain him. His pure innocent self seemingly lost forever, Darth Vader cast a dark pall over the galaxy, as he was one of the foremost agents responsible for the elimination of the Jedi order.

Anakin is unconscious in hospital as he is saved by Obi-Wan. But then Palpatine turns up at his hospital bed, and lies to Anakin that he himself ie Palpatine saved him.

Palpatine was scheduled to arrive at the second Death Star. The Emperor foresaw that Skywalker would come before the two, and then they would seduce young Luke to the dark side, just as Anakin had been drawn to its power decades earlier.

When Luke was taken before the Emperor, Palpatine pitted father and son in a lightsaber duel. Skywalker refused to fight and give into the temptation of the dark side. Vader, probing his mind, learned of his daughter, Leia Organa. He threatened to turn her to the dark side. At this threat, Luke gave into his hatred and attacked his father. In the ferocious assault that followed, young Skywalker nearly killed Vader. Horrified by what he had become, Luke abandoned his new found dark side rage, and refused Palpatine's offers of power. "I am a Jedi, like my father before me," Skywalker proudly claimed.

....and then what does Vader do. He betrays the only real friend and mentor he ever had. Emperor Palpatine. With the goal of taking the emperors place and starting the Skywalker dynasty to run the galaxy.

But the emperor was too powerful and destroyed his false friend before being treacherously thrown to his doom.

do u recommend for someone who has never seen any star wars movie to go and watch episode 2 ?
