Yeah, marginal increase only.
2-3% risk of abnormalities in the general population, 3-5% with first cousins. Besides, according to my wonderful genetics textbook, in parts of India, Asia and the Middle East 20-60% of marriages are between first cousins, and they seem to be doing OK.
