P.S.- good to see you back in the political forum... been waiting for shit to spice up again!

Just watch all his responses in the saddleback forum vs. McCains.

The difference is painfully obvious.

On abortion:

"I come to that conclusion because I don't think women make these decisions casually"

vs.

"Life begins at conception. I have a 25 year pro-life record."

One of those tells me the candidate has really, thought, about the issue at hand and the depth of it, the other does not.

Nuance and detail are virtues when considering the amazingly complex issues the president will face. But you're right, for a presidential candidate, nuance is not a virtue.

And this should really be troubling to most people. That we've elevated knee jerk simplification and reactionary discussion over true debate.

Obama has no business talking about the abortion issue after getting caught strait up lying about the infantacide bill he suppored, but said he didn't. His camp had to come clean on that the other day when he got busted.

No... not from Rush. Doesn't matter where it came from, he got caught in a big lie regardless, and that speaks a lot of his character. And like the John Edwards deal, it's being ignored by the main stream media as usual.

I think he does.

That reply was smart. McCain's was not.
