the recorded Sirius set seems as though it is constantly skipping - does anyone else agree?

nevertheless, listening to this set - it's just not the same as the sets I remember from Roxy ..

No I agree, last year's set was way better -- both days actually. But I do dig this year's set after listening to it on Sirius more than when I was actually there.

listening to the sirius broadcast...the set is definitely a lot better than i remember it. maybe it's because i can hear it! pier 54 was an awful venue.

paul usually spins a pretty different style at these outdoor summer NYC events than he does at roxy, roseland etc

it's a shame it's messed up, though i don't even notice the skips if i just have it on in the background and aren't paying a huge amount of attention to it.

at least a recording finally made its way online for once...maybe next year they'll nail it.

ya, I concur. I'm not a "outdoor" event person, all my PvD experiences were indoors unfortunately. Only "real" outdoor event I went to was a Gabbercore Rave in 01 - horrible experience; preferred club events since then.

nevertheless, i can agree on the vibe the set can bring based on atmosphere.
