actually i think its much simpler than that

people who realease weekly oil supply data were bribed by some oil companies this created "lack of supply" and all investment banks/ pension funds started buying oil futures like crazy thus inflating the bubble

so far though there hasn't been any States that have switched parties from last election. (according to CNN).

Ohio or maybe NC might be the first one to go Democrat that was Republican last election.

it means that unless McCain can sweep almost every other state, including California (which will NEVER happen), the republicans mathematically CANNOT win
