It sucks when you can't dismiss arguments based on jumping on the bandwagon or employing an imaginary standard of reasoning eh Skipper?
I'd apologize for not having time to re-type page 1 of my textbook on how to argue because I was at work, except I'm not sorry for actually working as opposed to fighting on the internet.
I have outright asked what Liam's issue with the sponsorship is. I fail to see any sort of clear response. Til then..

oh and my problem is not that this is free or who is sponsoring it but rather the rationale you people have about "free transit saving lives"
So you disagree that having the TTC running on New Years could prevent a drinking and driving accident? I guess I haven't been arguing with you because, well, it just seems so absurd that anyone would disagree with this fact.
The TTC is free on NYE because Liberty Group is going to pay for it. I don't really get how anyone is actually saying this is a bad thing? Like what on earth could be WRONG with this? It absolutely does have the potential to prevent people from drinking and driving, even if that possibility is miniscule. Because its corporate sponsored, I really can't comprehend how anyone can say keeping the TTC open to discourage that miniscule possibility is not worthwhile. What would you rather they do with that 60k? Bring in Tiesto???

Usually I could care less, but I'm supposed to be grading around 40 papers right now, so naturally I'm procrastinating and attending to any distraction I can find--I'm also cleaning my house!
