I don't understand why this is so difficult. Things suck right now, okay, we get it. You have two choices. You can sit around thinking about how sad you are, and gradually turn yourself into a moping little shit that nobody wants to be around, or you can say to yourself "fuck it, I'm not going to let this bitch ruin my life" and go out and have some fun. Odds are you will meet someone who you will love more than you love this girl.

(Why you love a girl who is dating a gang member and has a child with him is beyond me)

Regardless, get over it, get out, and forget about her. That's really the only logical choice.
