I have an honest question. No bullshit. Ok, well, a bit...
Why do you spin glowsticks? For the attention? I could never understand it. Almost everyone I know finds it annoying and 'show-offy' in a club/party environment. Is it cool over in America? Do a lot of people do that? What sort of clubs do you do this stuff in? |
Well, i just like spinning poi. Whether its glow sticks or fire. I like glowsticks because i can do a lot without worrying about getting burned. but i also like fire because it's much more of a challenge, physically and mentally. And yea, there's the attention factor. I mean, what performer does not do it for the attention of the audience? I love it when I get people taking pictures, video, or just coming up to me to give me props. It's an ego booster. Yea, there are the haters, but i don't give a fuck about them. I dont do it all the time either. Some places are just no appropriate for it. Is it cool in America? It's probably like Australia. It's cool to many people in many places, but not all people, all the time.
I usually do it at events which resemble what could be called a "rave". Outdoor events, some clubs, or just at a friend's house.
