Yes it is two different people with a musical background can disagree on what is good and what it bad. It all depends on what you like. Thats why its called art. It doesn't have to touch everyone the same way. Just because i hate that screaming music (whatever the fuck its called.) doesn't mean that someone else with a lot more classical musical background couldn't love it.

i meant in terms of being able to discuss merits and faults of a tune in more detail than 'good for me, bad for you'
