What is it with Armin playing remixes of terrible pop songs? Last year he played that Apologize song and now this. I mean, I at least semi-enjoyed Ferry's remix of The Killers Human, but some songs just aren't trance songs.

The sad thing though Zach...that's probably when the crowd got the most excited/pumped.

Yep =/
I wonder if anyone else thought Chakalaka's Time Gate was epic though...man I love Arnej's remix of Time Gate. Mashup'd with Chakalaka...
I hope Markus bangs that track out too.

i thought it was hella fun too! very intense... i danced my ass off.
regarding the jesus pose... alright, in a previous post about markus, i went on record defending the jesus pose. but after seeing armin, i realized that yes, the jesus pose, just like anything else, can become a little played out.
don't get me wrong, i thought the night as a whole was insanely fun. having said that, it was hard not to notice the formula armin seemed to stick with for dropping his tracks... build up, jesus pose, everybody hands-in-the-air, wait for it, more jesus pose, wait-FOR-it, BOOM big drop, crowd goes wild, and then basically repeat from there. i wish he would have had a few lesser moments of that cycle, and just kept the crowd humming without necessarily doing so much fan fare.
although, i mean the crowd was responding to it, hell i was too, but i thought to myself when it was happening... "man, i just wish that he could transition without the formulaic jesus pose, everybody hands in the air, etc. each and every time he was dropping bombs.
