I went through the airport in Charlotte once, it's fucking nice.
haha.. wtf is Citi doing right now? I haven't been following.
Yeah man the airport here is nice and easy to get around in. It's up there with Orlando, Tampa, and Denver as the best ones IMO

Also, I thought Obama's speech was excellent. Jindal made him look even more amazing.
Props.

yeah Jinal looked bad, but I liked most of the substance of it... Obama's speech was full of crap, but he looked good. He just delivers it so well that it seems great.
I didn't hear too much crap. The only thing I dislike about Obama is when he falls into those same vague points "keep people in their homes, etc"
And that was the weakest fact checking I've ever seen.
It a basically amounted to "well he could be right, but he could also be wrong"

haha... yeah but that's the essence of his statements. He says nothing better than anyone's ever said it, and it sounds so believable!
I need to take a break from politics

He was laying out his plan. This is what he wants to do. The specifics of it are huge, its not like he could get into detail on every little thing (though I sure wish he did more).
It's not nothing. The stuff he wants to do is huge. We've been sitting on our asses the last 8 years. He wants to move forward on all this and the speech was basically telling congress, this is what I want to do, this is why, now, help me do it.

I think listening to Rush Limbaugh is part of your problem.

Nice twisting of statistics. Your link compares the statistics of "Megaregions" which consisit of areas with 10-50 million people. Charlotte metro area has approximately 2 million.
This is 2006 data, but I doubt it's much different 2 years later. Don't forget the corporate HQ of Bank of America, Wachovia, 5/3 Bank, and several others are here.
right, but it's still not considered a corporate city like New York City, and I thought that's what you meant. forgive me for doing so.
I have friends who study/studied there, either charlotte/chapel hill/durham

Again, you're going back to that. I listen to Rush, but he doesn't define me. He probably takes up 1% of my time.

haha... it's all good man. They do have some pretty solid universities here, from UNC to Duke to Davidson to Wake Forest. It's not as "hayseed" hick as people think... there's a good mix of outdoors shit if you like the beach or the mountains, and if you want to be a corporate lackey, there's plenty of that between the Research Triangle of Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill and Charlotte. I've been to about 35 of the states and I've found that no matter where you go, once you get outside the city limits, there are rednecks.
