No, I know, thats teh thing though. Take the beat out of those tracks and add in some more sound across the spectrum and I'd probably find it much more interesting.
Its teh 4/4 beat at that slower speed and the sparseness of the sound that tends to get me annoyed. Its not any sort of quantifiable thing really... just it has never jived with me well... to the point that I actually get a headache listening to it.
