I was hoping for Above & Beyond with Anjunabeats 7 coming out soon, we'd get to hear the new music...
like last year when Armin played a lot of ASOT 2008 in his set... everytime I listen to ASOT 2008, it brings me back to that night... and how amazing it was... one of the best parties in a long time... AVB, A&B, ATB, K&A, and... DV... lol

well A&B did come out to the city a couple times last year, i recall they did a virgin megastore appearance on market street so hopefully you caught them then.

I'm most disappointed with eddie getting booked for it since i would want to see him play a full set at a club not an hour long at one of these 18+ events.

****THIS POST IS OF MY OWN ACCORD THIS POST IS OF MY OWN ACCORD THIS POST IS OF MY OWN ACCORD****
****THIS POST IS OF MY OWN ACCORD THIS POST IS OF MY OWN ACCORD THIS POST IS OF MY OWN ACCORD****

Of course not everyone is going to be please.

No matter what the lineup is a group of people would complain.

If it's this or that DJ, it's the same DJ every time.
If it's this other DJ or act, oh they are doing the same thin every time.
If it's this other DJ, I didn't like him one time.

That's fine. It's your fault for getting yourself so amped up for the lineup announcement.

You have to understand that so much goes on to when booking these events. And sometimes it's just NOT POSSIBLE to get all the top acts that maybe you all want to see. Maybe there are other politics involved.

And don't even compare it to LA events...which are much easier to organizer from start-to-finish from all accounts I've gathered over the years. It's all stuff that would take a lot of detail to explain and I don't feel like it...but yeah, it's seems much easier to get events organized in LA (and dealing with the city intself amonth other things)

****PLEASE FORGIVE THE FOLLOWING CAUSE I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!! AND REMEMBER, IT"S OF MY OWN F'N ACCORD****

Bigperf....stop pissing everywhere. It's getting old very fast. For everyone. Thank you, good night.

Hearing these at the After Party would have been
http://www.anjunabeats.com/anjunabe...ove-and-beyond/

Guess we'll just have to wait for them to hit up Ruby Skye again... sigh...

Do you think they'll stick Eddie in the House Room or would he be the Trance headliner?

And weren't they doing only 2 rooms this year? That's a lot of people already for 2 rooms... the "And More" seems tacked on...

there is no pissing just stating my 2 cents. the lineup is not as stacked as in the past and thats a fact.

Plus my favorite artist won't be playing a full set after originally expecting to see him tomorrow night when he was announced to be playing in the city. If you'd like i can provide the flier as evidence of this. I was never planning to attend the after party as i have no interest in the 18+ concept.

Aug 21 show being pulled off + being placed on the after party just irritates me.

so if the post seems negative, well DaveT you know what? you've posted dozens if not hundreds of posts that are just as negative if not more, so i find it ironic you would point that out about me when 95% of my posts are meant to benefit the TA community via guestlists or other special promotions(not sure how many people were aware of the SF Giants giveaways, so if my post about the Giants giving out virgin america 50% vouchers informed some of the TA's and you end up being able to come up to SF due to getting one, then you're welcome!)

i am excited but i guess the trance room will be in the side room like it was years ago....
to be fair and while i dont really care for epic or even tech trance nowadays but the djs playing are cool people to support, hang out with and djs in general. the trance side room years ago [TA hosted iirc] was likely the best time i had at the official after party and ferry/schulz were in the main room as far as trance goes. i heard better sets from schulz/ferry at that time so no big loss but also know its when some people discovered schulz... b&j, a&b and others were def a treat even with the sound outages. it'll def be a more personal and cozy experience than if it was in the main room too. everytime ive been in the side room, djs would come out and take photos or even hang. the main room is just too much for that to happen.

the line up isnt the biggest surprise or disappointment other than the fact that groove armada and fischerspooner are dj sets and not live... then again im not sure i want to see another fischerspooner live set

Dude, you f'n complained about THE ORDER THE ARTISTS ARE IN on the flyer, because Alain said it'd be one way and it's not.

Seriously. You are pissing on things. That's not "2 cents"

Yep, I crticize things but I at least try to do it constructively. There's a difference.

That said, you ahve contributed a lot on this board....can't deny that. But your pissing is overshadowing all that.

This thread is not a place to argue in and I'm not trying to argue. But your posts lately do nothing but frustrate.

the TYPE is REALLY SMALL and hard to read, so if not in alphabetical order it is tough to try and find a particular artist. I am sure we can get a TEXT list of the artists in alphabetical order.

I'm mostly disappointed because making a cross-country trek to see artists I could've seen over here is a bit meh. We don't get the big names as often/at good venues, and when we do, it's one artist at a time, $40-80 per show for a single big headliner. Out here, we see the big west coast events as a chance to experience it all at once at better venues for comparable prices with more people. So yes, I am disappointed.

But I'm still excited to see the trance artists who're going to be there-- I'm a trancehead through and through-- and it'll be a great night anyway. Also very excited for the day parade, because there's nothing like it anywhere else in the country. The parade makes it still worthwhile.
