not nearly as crowded as I expected and plenty of room to move around..
it was a good set, but I don't really listen as intently as I used to..
i hung in the back most of the night, but at the end made it up close fairly easily about 3 or 4 back from the front...
this was by far the easiest for me to see PvD that didn't involve some 4+hr drive from my house to miami (although I did have to drive 4+hrs from Tally post thanksgiving, ohh. the irony)
This was my 19th time seeing PvD and would like to see him again just to make it a round 20, but these shows are all the same..
The Tampa crowd was much older than I expected too so kudos to us for that.
and I drank too much... ha

Was gonna say, you were either not there or chillin' in the back near the bathrooms. Place was a sardine can. Good show that could have been great had they kept it at the Ritz, which is a 100 times better venue than The Kennedy

This was a crap show really
I had taken a one year sabbatical from DJ shows and decided to get back to partying starting with PvD show at the Kennedy.
First the opening DJ, whenever he could transition without a train-wreck kept playing some crap (which was still getting the crowd to keep jumping up and down - i don't know how people manage that). Finally, after a long torturous wait, PvD showed up (12:30 or maybe 12:45 - can't remember exactly). If part-one with the opening DJ wasn't bad enough, part-two, with PvD was horrible. Atleast the opening DJ can be excused - i hadn't spent $40 to hear him.
The bottomline - i left at around 2:15 or so - unable to bear it any longer. If this is what is left of top-rated EDM shows/sets/DJs, we are staring at a dead-wood.
