i smoked weed for at least 12 years pretty heavily (at least once a day, never got high during work...and if i didn't work i would say 3 to 4 joints a day on average) I quit because i knew it was time to do so, old man pot heads are quite pathetic.
Pot had none of the physical side effects and withdrawal symptoms that i had experienced earlier on in life when going cold turkey on speed and coke ("rave" years). That was hell, but with friends and will power you get through it. Weed was a minor annoyance, i seriously hope you did not spend a ton of money on that.
Good for you on quitting weed, but if you are going to be successful in anything in life it is about : willpower willpower willpower.

thank you, jesus. old man addicts of any sort are quite pathetic imo
when i quit smoking i seriously had no problems. nothing compared to opiate or benzo withdrawal. i just tapered off until i was barely smoking once a weekend, and then never bought a bag again after my hitter box emptied. i tried on a few occasions to smoke weed again, but could never get myself to make it a regular thing.
