You should be happy that you clocked in 5 years of frequent partying without getting tired. Most people I know (including me) slowed down after 2 or 3 years (none of us have "stopped"). Quality or not, people change, they grow up and take off the rose-tinted glasses. |
haha no its was the "again" word that threw me off
yes you definitely have a point when it comes to clubbing. Surely one's priorities change and we all grow. I dont feel the need to be in the club every weekend when there are 50000 more things I can do in NYC.
I think my complaints come more from the quality of the tracks and sets, because I still choose to listen to them on the subway/gym/whatever. (and also on the occasions that I *do* go to the club!) Seems to be very little flow in sets, and a reduced quality and creativity in tracks (which clearly will not help anyone's set, either!)
The argument that listening to the same genre repeitively may hold some truth. But at the same time, why havent I gotten sick of other genre's of music then? I listen to many types of music, but it seems the overwhelming opinion that trance is, indeed, on the decline in the last few years.
At first I thought it was just me, but then I hear the conversation EVERYWHERE...in person, on forums, in clubs, etc.....While I know this is all subjective, i brought the topic up because of the massive similarity of opinion on the subject.
