According to my source, the show is over. They don't have any plans for two years out. They also didn't want it to seem cheezy and have a finale within a finale. Blame HBO, the Curb brand wasn't very profitable and has gotten more popular recently(like Seinfeld who had shitty ratings the first few years) and there is no budgeting for a new season.

i heard something bout it going to network tv dunno how true this is tho if it is then it will def lose a lot of its appeal since there is going to be censorship but i could be wrong i do recall the episode of south park where the profanity flew like the wind but then again it was 2 in the morning on channel 11 so who knows

word then i guess if it is true...they ended it with a curb version of seinfeld, larry and cheryl got back together and larry ended the show being his same old self

i strongly believe larry david and jerry seinfeld could careless about a finale. they put a lot more effort into the show itself, which is totally fine with me! i do hope curb comes back!!!! i can never get enough of LD!
