To echosystm: I find it weird you decide you don't want a relationship with this girl after phone sex and after you've asked her on a date. There can't be too much time lapse between asking her on a date and actually going on the date, so it seems to me you had a very rapid change of heart in the last day or two. There has to be a reason for that beyond "I just don't think we're right for each other."

For me, that's the whole discussion right there. Without knowing what she told you, there's no way of telling if any of the amateur psychotherapy in this thread is right, or whether you should go for it or get the fuck out of dodge.
