Just heart Michael Buble on SNL, and I would totally be content with him being the sound of Canadian music. Love his voice and love the style of music he sings. It sounds like he has an old Frank Sinatra feel to him...and I LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEEEEEEEE Frank Sinatra.

You posted examples of the "artists" you feel are Canadian You Used That Genre Because thats the music you listened to & that you feel confident enough to talk about

The same way you said thoose guys say Blue Rodeo & Tom Cochrane as well but you didnt because you felt personally that thoose guys you mentioned represent a Canadian artist/sound

If you wanted to provide examples you should have used other genres in your argument

Also Cancon rules are funny because you have to meet certain Criteria to be considered Canadian thats why Canadians can get nominated for American Music awards

The biggest EDM song & maybe all time #1 song out of Canada is still SunGlasses @ Night

why not?

I understand because theres 2 American & 1 Canadian that its not Canadian

But consider this

the other 2 girls were just backup singers really while she was the lead singer

So thast a important role of the group headed by a Canadian

Vanity was a Canadian Singer Working for A American Producer similar to Nelly Furtado Working with Timberland They come from the same province they even

Nelly Furtado even pulled The reverse Alanis To Vanity status

The Canadian Music Indsutry Didnt Recognize/Consider one of The greatest love songs Bryan Adams Everything I do To be Canadian because it didnt meet there guidelines thats a embarassment

What does that even mean?

Do you have some kind of neurological impediment like Rainman, or, well, what the hell are you still doing here?
