Great night all around IMO. Got to Mansion @ 1:30 and walked right in thru willcall in about 2 minutes flat. Once in the mainroom I immediately noticed they had the sound turned waaaaaay up. I think their problem is they do not have a sound engineer or anybody with the know-how to tweak the system and set the levels correctly, because it is loud as hell. Absolutely love that video-led screen setup behind the DJ booth, amazing IMO. Fact they spent the $$$ on it tells me they really are going for a more DJ-driven party, and it adds to the overall quality of a DJ show.

As for PVD, I honestly think the change of scenery from Space to Mansion was good for him. IMO he delivered a very good 'fun, party & dance your ass off' set. The set flowed very well and had a little bit of everything. Played a good variety of trance, everything from melodic, to vocals, to tech-trance, to high-energy/bpm trance. Also dropped some house, but it was mostly harder stuff with some techy breakdowns as well. There were no major lowpoints IMO, and I'll just have to forgive him for dropping that I'm in Miami Bitch crap track that he needs to lose already.

If I had to choose one word to describe last night, it would be EPIC!

A friend of mine, who saw PVD last week at amnesia, was showing me videos of the event and I was very impressed by the giant LED tvs. With that in mind, I told him and my g.f (while we were waiting for PVD to start): "you know what would make this party epic? If there was a giant LED screen behind the DJ"...they both agreed that it would be amazing. about an hour later, PVD is set up and he starts lowering the music then he turns it back up full force and at the same time a GIANT LED screen (in 4 parts) is turned on! It was the most incredible feeling. As much as I wanted it to begin with, I NEVER thought they would actually have one. I also didn't think that mansion was gonna top what space did in Nov. when PVD was there but they did all that and more. I just hope that they keep that LED screen for future events. I'm not sure if it was only for the "no sleep till miami" events.

As far as PVD's set, it was amazing. He ALWAYS delivers a good time.

It would be great if we could have the booking team from Eden over at Mansion. SVD would be so much fun there

I don't post much but for this one just had to! Incredible night. I'll share my last PVD experience. The terrace at space Nov 09. I got drunk like a retard, collapsed and was kicked out! So no fun at all plus musically wasn't that good. So I knew not to overdrink this time. Got there around 1:15 cause of a bitch of a storm, found parking around the corner on 13th and had no problem getting in. No line nothing straight in. I actually stayed in the room adjacent to the main room with couches really comfy, sound was excellent and you could feel the vibe instead of being distracted. The man was on point the whole night. Truly banging it out. I've become accustomed to hearing we are one, home, time of our lives, so it was ok, just went to the bathroom during those moments. I will say this, Mansion was wayyy better than what everyone made it out to be. I guess since it was raining it was empty? Honestly not even the smoke bothered me. Truly had a great time and can't wait for another event here. As for space i am more than done with that place. Not to knock on the eden guys but SVD would be truly better here. Hopefully they get a lcd screen like this one. the lighting, and vibe was perfect! And yes watch the receipt! I got a long island and a stella for $25.00 and still tipped $2.00! so $ 6.00 tip...be careful...

Hopefully Markus will be the next trance DJ @ Mansion. He'd destroy that room ...
