If you want a quick run down on the genre and it's history this is an absolutely excellent chronology mix spanning the evolution of dubstep. In fact I'd recommend that last one most as a quick and proper introduction.

Kris is 100% correct, the Red Bull Tent was on FIRE. A couple times I ran in just to see what all the fuss was about!
