There are many others using foreskin for medical research. No permission is asked to use the samples either. We think they just put it in the medical waste bin, but this is not always the case. Human tissue is a valuable commodity in the science world.
I'm all for this, medical research saves lives, but it is sneaky to do this without the public at large knowing what is happening to their child's skin...even if it would otherwise be discarded.
The business of foreskin is not exactly the backbone of the economy, but the vested interest both scientifically and financially are still large enough to lobby for circumcision. I'm biased for sure, but find this somewhat unethical.
