based on the artists I've looked up so far or already knew:
Fri
M83
Amon Tobin
Explosions in the Sky
Jimmy Cliff
Neon Indian
LA Riots
(lots of names I still have to look up)
Sat (sat always seems to be the worst)
Radiohead (maybe)
Flying Lotus
Sub Focus
SBTRKT
Pure Filth Sound
Sun:
Snoop
Nero
Beats Antique
La Roux
NOISIA
DJ Shadow
Girl Talk
Morgan Page
Modeselektor
Flux Pavillion
Lots of small names I still have to listen to on spotify, thats waht the next 85 days are for though
Anyone have any recommendations on which commercial house djs will be the best? The group I'm going with has a few people who want to go see a few of them, I will probably go to one or two, not sure which though. Definitely not afrojack. It will probably be sat since thats the most open. Ingrosso? solveig?
In the past I'd wander the stages just to see what was going on (when there weren't any MUST SEES) and you always hear the most amazing music, even on a random stage at 3pm

ehh what? does it matter? they all play COMMERCIAL HOUSE.
I did find Ingrosso tolerable when I was at XS a few months back. But tolerable is hardly an excuse to dedicate time for him at coachella.

a minor correction, this was last year:
Wow! Personally I found this to be the best lineup since the one where they had the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pvd and Daft Punk (think it was 2007). The album 'Distant Relatives' by Nas & Damien Marley is amongst my all time favorites.
Kinda puts into perspective how much this years lineup sucks, aside from Snoop and Dre of course.

leftfield was also incredible, wish i could see them again but that's (probably) never gunna happen

oh, they're miserable for sure.
my main one being if it'd be too crazy/packed to get to coachella and set up my tent that friday morning around 10AM.
we're getting to LA on thursday but want to take the day to relax and chill in the city and then head to indio first thing friday morning (around 8am).
other than that.. it's just questions/opinions about camping gear, posting about artists, etc etc.

It shouldn't be a problem, but don't expect to get a very good spot. Most people who are camping go in on Thursday and there is usually a lot of stuff going on Thursday night.
UIs it car camping? If you get in on friday for car camping expect to have a spot that is super far from the entrance.
e: by super far i mean no more than a 5-10 min walk, but last year i was like 100-200 ft from the entrance

What kind of shit usually goes down at night at Coachella? Do people just set up parties at their campsites or something?

parties
hope you dont camp next to a 24/7 dubstep party. there were a few last year, riced out trucks with skrillex on repeat.
i was near reasonable people - the worst was some aussies who were shitfaced 24/7, but didnt cause any problems so by "worst" it isnt saying much

thanks for the info! yeah - car camping. it's tough because i can tell thursday is a blast at the polo fields. they have a huge pick up soccer game going that i want to play in and overall it just seems like fun.
and it seems like the nights at coachella are just as fun as the day. videos on youtube of people partying in tents, chilling out with their neighbors, etc.
