not withstandingi iphone being the final playback device. Mastering just doesn't really matter anymore. Mastering really only relevant in film/tv and there it is really important.
You say that, but I think if you're trying to make music for commercial success then yes, iphone is your medium, but I always try to make it for da club. Thing's made for shitty phones don't sound good on $200k of martin audio or funktion1
