You's a huge bitch!

Don't give in to the crap food! Stuff yourself on nothing but meat and vegetables, you'll be fine.

Yeah seriously, if you can't work out so what? Fitness isn't all down the drain. You can at least maintain *some* of your shape by eating right. Lol.

I'm just a huge Eastern European Montenegrian bear , blame it on genetics. My goal is to be at 245 solid. More egg whites, less Sarah Lee. A lot more running once I heal. How's your workouts going Hal, You hit the gym hard or does wifey have you cuffed against the bedpost?

I stopped for the summer and started to just feel like shit and sleep like shit (related, of course) so I just started up again. I just lift regularly in my basement living room and try to get as much protein as I can stomach. Feeling froggy again and sleep hard from being habitually sore, so I consider my goals met until I can upgrade my weights.

No more bedpost. We got a new bed. Now I need more fruit in my diet.

The darker the berries , the sweeter the juice. If you lift heavy eat a lot of protein. I highly recommend a daily dose of pure organic honey. It's very healthy and it's been known to have an affect on controlling and decreasing cancerous cells. I would recommend investing into a good quality juicer and just experiment.

I haven't had honey in forever, and actually just added it to my list earlier today. Would be so much better to start my days with some complex sugars rather than black coffee and contempt for my fellow motorists.

Running is something you have to make exciting. If you trot around doing 10+ minute miles or (worse) use a treadmill in a gym, don't be surprised when the fabled "runner's high" fails to materialise. I personally treat running as a personal challenge, something I enforce with a simple rule: I can never run less distance than previously. I must always run as far as my previous longest distance. This means running is constantly imbued with a sense of challenge and achievement - the goal is always to break your previous best. Running less distance than my previous best is only acceptable if I beat my previous best time, or if the route is notably more punishing in terms of elevation. The accomplishment of breaking a previous record gives me a feel-good rush. I also plan my routes so they end with a final sprint, where I can just go all-out no matter how exhausted. This explosive end to a run is guaranteed to leave me with my heart thumping and adrenaline coursing, rather than an insipid stumble across the finishing line.

The second half of your post is clearly just provocative nonsense.

Off to my basement to do my first workout in months. Pretty pumped! Sucks that it's raining, kinda in the mood for a run. Oh well. :/

I've been slowly moving from intervals to distance running/jogging (slowing down my intervals but going much further). Its hard, mainly cause my stride at a good jogging pace sucks ass. I come down really flat footed and before my stamina runs out my feet are what make me slow down.

Oh well, push through the pain.

The best time to run is in the rain at night. It's awesome. Proper pissing it down, you can't beat it.

I used to have this problem. I'd get really bad shin splints because I have really flat feet. Go see a podiatrist. I had custom orthotics made that help immensely.
