Let's not forget the millions of dollars Hamas spent to build terror tunnels (used primarily to ambush and kill innocent civilians), instead of using that money to increase the standard of living for the people in Gaza. I'd like someone to try and justify this, please.

A key difference between Hamas (or/and whoever else is doing the rocket firing, etc.) and Israel is that the former targets civilians, whereas the latter targets the attackers. And as Viber already pointed out, if Hamas/Gaza didn't start firing hundreds of rockets into Israel's civilian territories daily, - causing people to flee for bomb shelters every time a rocket was fired and a bomb alarm went off - there wouldn't be any casualties in Gaza in the first place!

pretty hard to justify an illegal occupation and say you aren't the bad guys. No matter how you add the numbers. Those casualties on the palestinian side are mostly civilians. Isreal is killing far more civilians wether that is their official stance or not. Asymmetrical warfare forces tactics that are less than ideal. These tactics would not be necessary or used if Israel would fuck off.

it seems really fucking simple. The only people that don't seem to get it are idiot jews, 3-4 nations that have an interest in having an ally close to oil that won't pull a ribbentrov.
