And as far as the importance of classifying a track goes... it's called being knowledgeable about a certain genre of music... you don't want to analyze it, that's fine, but don't bash people that do. A lot of us aren't just here to express our appreciation for a song that "sounds cool"... when a track is considered good, we wanna know why. and "it just is" is a stupid answer... Fine, you like the track, you dislike the track... if you're getting upset because we're analyzing it, then unsubscribe to the thread...

The subject is "What's so good about Flight 643 anyway?", not "Who cares what's good about Flight 643? People like it!!!"

I can't believe I have to explain everything to you. THE TUNE IS NOT SUPPOSE TO BE HANDS IN THE AIR UPLIFTING.

Everything of the tune, starting from the bassline, the synthesizers, etc it's all different from your usual tiesto material.

Obviously Tiesto can produce hands in the air uplifting tracks as you all well know but instead, he shows that he can do things different effectively.

YOU SEE, THIS TUNE DOESN'T HAVE THAT OBVIOUS BLATANT "IN YOUR FACE MELODY" that appeals to the general public. Instead, it's light, but still captures the attention of the dancefloor. It doesn't have to be cheesy for people to like it. Tiesto proves this very well.

I think flight 643 is ok... True, u dun need a breakdown to have a good track but there's even progressive that has good breakdowns (but I know twillogoddess has good taste in music from her previous posts)... It's not tiesto's greatest or worst, I think it's odd for us to hear this from him... that's cool he's moving on but I hope he's not doing it cuz that's what everyone else is doing... So I'm interested to hear the next track he releases cuz I dun have much to say about this track he did, it's a great to hear it at clubs but as I listen to it right now, it's good, but I wouldn't call it amazing...

i hate that friggin song sooo much its not even funny. anyways this track is WAY too hyped over, its not that good (or bad!) the only reason a LOT of people like it is because it's by tiesto. some of you, im sure, appreciate its musicality (?) but not most. "oooh... tiesto.. its must be gold."
