Hi,

I tried doing everything said, but I still have a problem. I'm using Nero 6 and when I try and burn the image, it doesn't show up in the selection box. It's in the exact same folder as my mp3, and it's the exact same name, except for .cue. It comes up with an "unexpected file format." Any clue about what to do? Thanks

Use the program CDRWIN!!! this is the easiest way on earth. Simply place the MP3 and Cue in the same folder(alone and with the same name), then open CDRWIN and press the cuesheet function, open cue, and press burn. Simple as that. I dont use Nero for cues and have not tried due to the fact that many people have had problems.

I was having a lot of problems with nero until i finallly figured out that you have to make the cue file EXACTLY right. Make sure the file name is exactly the same in the cue file as it is with the file you want to cut. Also make sure to use quotation marks around everything. Use examples from this thread to help you.

File --> Burn image --> select cue file you want to burn.

The cue file must refer to the mp3 file you want to burn.

probably because you say nothing about your minidisc's functions and abilities.

However....If you transfer mp3 files digitally to your minidisc (32x speed super duper thingy), then there's nothing more to do, than use some cue program to load the cue file and split your mp3 into individual tracks.

If your minidisc player does not have the ability to transfer audio digitally, then there's not much you can do but split the tracks manually (the sony mz units usually have their own button for it), after the recording process.

Never tried myself. I am pretty sure that you cannnot make an MP3 cue file in this program, or any, from what I know.
