Unfortunately, history doesnt have to always repeat itself. Stop using that as a way to validate our argument. Just so you know, the Iran/Iraq war, the gulf war, and the horrendous sanctions that have been imposed on this nation has hurt the people more than Saddam. It has also made it very weak economically and militarily. Therefore, i dont think he would have even the resources to attack another surrounding nation in order to take over it.

Actually, that doesn't answer my question. In fact that is such complete bullshit. If you think that Bush is a "threat against humanity", then you must think that France, Germany, Russia are also threats against humanity if Saddam ends up killing millions of Iraqis. After all, they would be indirectly responsible for the deaths of millions of innocent people (or atleast, it would make them an accessory to a threat against humanity). I ask you this question again. How do you suppose that the world should go about deposing Saddam? |
If you havent seen the recent TIME polls... an overwhelming amount of the international population beleives that the US... which is curently run by someone who cheated his way into office...see the US as the biggest threat to the world. I think you have been grossly misinformed about the other Atrociities that this nation has commited throughout this century. In fact, the US is the only nation to be charged with terrorist crimes against civilians by the international court of Justice during the Nicaragua attacks in the late 80's.
How else would we get rid of Saddam.. the same way they got Melosovic... by attacking his compounds and capturing him that way.
