I'm packing to move this week...what better way to relieve the sheer boredom and annoyance of packing...than to pack a bowl and turn on ASOT.

LOL funny story from Andy Moor last night.

Me and my buddies were on the dance floor smokin a joint. Then one of them buns it up and knocks the cherry off the joint just as it reaches roach-territory. So obviously, pain in the ass to re-light. Anyway, this sketchy old asian woman looked like she was inviting herself in on our spliff. And we're all like "WTF, we barely have enough here for the 4 of us, let alone some woman we don't even know" But instead, she hands us a joint, tells us to light it, has 3 tokes and dissapears!

Fuckin EH! Last time I ever judge a book by it's cover LOL.

that was the original plan...but couldn't find anyone to go...most of the crew was either staying in or going to Lawler...so instead I went out and got trashed and enjoyed the crazy costumes on Church St, LOL. wow...some people are f**ked, lol.

At he last Guv 8-year in the kool Haus I was jammin it up front and center and some guy handed me like half a J and told me to kill it. I was already flying on 5 beers too... I always love the unexpected ^_^.

Back on topic here though... Deep Fried Calamari with Spicy Salt is my new munchies-food. Best place I've had it so far is Tremendous Chinese Resteraunt in Mississauga.

It's not an EDM reference, but a few years back I was living in Saskatoon, and the Hip came there to play. People had to catch a shuttle sort of out of town to get to the venue, so there were all these Hip fans hanging together on the bus. The sketchiest dude was sitting right in the back seat (the bench... scaring EVERyone away). He was hacking the WORST sounding phlegm (sp?). Like dirty rotten yellow gobs ( you couldn't see it, but you coudl imagine)... then, out of nowhere, this joint lands on my lap. I look around, and discover the dude is basically tossing joints at people in the bus, just sharing the wealth. Laughing and saying "Have a great time!!!" He was a random drunk (albeit very happy) dude, and he was just makin' sure everyone else was going to enjoy the Hip vibe the way it's supposed to be enjoyed.

I've since continued on the sharing tradition at a few shows myself, and apparently this is somethign Tragically Hip fans are known for. The looks on people's faces are priceless.
