Hey everyone The two "Party Agenda" links on the first page aren't working for me. I am wondering where I can get info on what's going on in Amsterdam for New years Eve. Any info is appreciated, thanks!

Most NYE party's are pretty overrated. Nothing beats sitting at home with friends drinking vodka and watching fireworks

I agree jp, but I am moving there in December and I would like to do something a bit more exciting for my first New Years there

Amsterdam is not that exciting at NYE. Maybe for you it's nice cause it's the first time. Going on your own to Holland?

I'm going with my fiance, for atleast 4 months. So is ANYBODY going to any parties, or is everyone staying home with friends?

Also staying at home.....watching some fireworks.....don't like NYE parties, just like JP said, overrated, overpriced and everybody is too drunk....but I can imagine that u want to do something when you're here
Maybe this is a good option if u are into trance: http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&forumid=13&threadid=307396
It´s only in The Hague, but a good price for a NYE-party
Amsterdam is NOT trance friendly. So if you don't mind other electronic music you'll be ok.
I'd rather go the Nieuwmarkt Square. Celebrate with the people over there and go to a bar after 00:00hr.
Going to Amsterdam the 16-18th of December weekend. Was originally planning to go to Innercity (which I still am) and had ordered plane tickets and hotel before the lineup came out..You can say that I was a bit disappointed (big understatement). Anyways...We're going to be in Amsterdam Friday night too, and being the tranceaddict that I am...are there any places in Amsterdam that plays trance and not all sorts of other house and electronica? I mean like Gielen,Corsten, Tiësto stuff? Or am I best off with Escape?
