I've tried to tell people that. We have dedicated buttons for a reason, especially keyboards. When you get to know a device with multiple dedicated buttons, you can use it so quickly.

We ain't at the minority report stage yet.

Funny enough, I am going to put a touch screen in my epc, because I think a normal OS can be more useful and fluid with one.

touch screen is must, but make sure you unit has a KB & touch screen.
That's why I stayed with the Treos, even though the OS is a bit old. The amount of software otut there is a amazing.

Only thing I can bitch about is no Wifi and no enternal GPS, but you can buy a GPS receiver for dirt cheap.

Dirt Cheap = 60.00 w/ shipping

You're right. I think its a gimmick.

The touch screen and the motion sensor or whatever its called is pretty cool for the first while.

But keep trying to type on that. I was never able to type well in the first iPhone...my fingers are kinda stubby...and this one isn't any better lol

Plus I do a lot of texting while driving lol

Try typing on the iPhone while driving...dear god lol
