A friend of mine who is an amazing musician is playing on August 23rd @ SOB's. Those of you who like deep house, samba, latin and world music should definitely check this out.

Every Saturday SOB''s brings Brazil to New York with the sounds of Bahia
and Rio de Janeiro. Live bands put a modern twist on Samba, Axe and Forro.
After the bands finish their sets, the DJs take over, spinning Baile Funk,
Samba Reggae, House and Hip Hop until the early part of the morning. This
is truly one of the hottest dance parties in NYC! Check out the next
party:
Dario Boente has performed in more than 18 countries worldwide and his
compositions have been included in several albums and compilations. His
band called “Huge in Japan”, teams up inspired musicians from around the
globe and have created quite a stir at Sob''s on his last appearance .
Dario layers the grime and groove of New York and London, the heartbeats
of Brazil, the rituals of Argentina and the mother tongues of Africa, all
into one seamless groove. Energy in its purest form.
"Huge in Japan" performed at ALMA''s Neo-Brasilian fusion party with
residents DJ True and Miller, performed with Louie Vega’s Elements of Life
band, Luisto Quinteros''s Percussion MAdness and guitarist Ronny Jordan,
among others.. ....
Music: Samba, Electronica, Latin, House, World.
Line-up /
Dario Boente, Keyboards and laptop programming.
Waldo Chavez, bass
Mauricio Zotarelli, Drums
Roberto Quintero, Percussion.
Special guest: Fabiana Masili, Vocals

Pacha is relaxed when it comes to what you wear. Nice trainers, jeans, and a nice t-shirt is just fine. Try to buy tix in advance, it might get packed and you want to make sure you get in.
Have fun in NY! |
Thanks a lot man!! The problem is that I dont like shoes, I always wear trainers (nice trainers, elegant trainers) and I like use T-Shirts instead shirts.
And another question.... do u know something about press???
I usually work for a Spanish Trance Webpage, so perhaps if I talk with Pacha NY, they will give me a Press Pass..... Obviously, I will make a review about the party with photos for Spain.
