YOu pulled out of Gaza because you realised that bulldozing the land that the Palestinians used to grow what few crops they could seemed just a tad inhumane. Israel is not fighting for existence, Israel is trying to put other countries OUT OF existence, notably Palestine, but what do you care, the bible says that land's yours right?

First of all, the Vatican knew since 1939 about the horrors being committed by the Nazis and still let it happen. Not to mention the Red Cross was completely oblivious and fooled by the Nazis when they toured the "better" death camps to see how Jews were being treated. Second, we did not know nine months before it happened that the kidnapping would occur, we found out later that it was planned nine months ago, so get your info sorted out.
Also, we pulled out of Gaza because what Israel really wants is peace for itself. We gave that bit of land to them not for some asinine reasons like you claim, but because we hoped some of the suicide bombings and bloodshed would cease. In case you didn't know, this war going on right now is NOT with Palestinians, but even so Hamas is another example of what happens when you use money for terrorism instead of education, public works, and things of the sort in Palestinian communities.
This is still a struggle for Israel's survival, regardless of what any of you may think. Out of that HUGE land mass in the Middle East occupied by Arabs and led by fundamentalist Muslims, Israel only occupies an area the size of New Jersey. There is little reason, except for religious fundamentalism, to fighting for that land since the Old Testament proved we were there thousands of years ago, and the main reason for these attacks is still to rid the world of Jews, like Hitler tried doing earlier. Even Ahmadinejad claimed stopping the war would involve "the destruction of Israel." And you know what? I won't stop reminding you of the unspeakable acts he and others throughout history committed against the Jews because you are an example of what happens to people who forget. It is people with your mentality who were eventually brainwashed to join the Nazis, to participate in pogroms, and to fight in the crusades, and only by remembering these events can the world see what a crime it committed against the Jews. After all, not only have Jews not received some form of reparations for what happened to them in the last century, but radicals refuse to admit that the Holocaust even existed. We will remember our past, but others won't, and that's why the violence and hatred against Jews has perpetuated for centuries like this.
