i swear to god i'm gonna give up on going out. that was the best trance set i've seen armin completely smashed that place to bits.

contrary to some opinions, i LOVED the first two hours. proggy, melodic goodness (Aurosonic - Starfall... why have i not heard THIS track before? MASSIVE!), moving into huge uplifters and those thumping driving basslines we know and love.

thought he steered reasonably clear of the techy stuff; i'm not a huge fan so i was pretty impressed. place looked fantastic - top work future.

high points:

- walking in at 11:55 and seeing the place jammed with white folks. awesome
- fkn - why (aly & fila remix): utter tuneage
- catching up with jolz early in the night... good to see you again!
- sound: crystal clear and not SUPERSUPERLOUDOMGMYEARSAREBLEEDING. the vodafone sound engineers have it nailed
- discovering the event wasn't oversold, rather nicely full

low points:

- none

wish he'd played candida (terk dawn remix) and woods remix of greece 2000.

oh, and the hour at the end when he went fully uplifting and old-skool was completely shit hot. this is why we love armin:

47. Ferry Corsten – Beautiful (Re:Locate Remix)
48. Bedrock – Heaven Scent (Greg Downey 2007 Remix)
49. Agnelli & Nelson - Everyday (John O'Callaghan Remix)
50. The Thrillseekers - Synaesthesia (Ferry Corsten Remix)
51. Solarstone – Seven Cities (Armin van Buuren Remix)

party of the year. (however, i dare say cattaneo at brown alley was equally good for different reasons.)

enjoyed the first hour and a half or so quite a lot - then he went into standard uplifting trance mode and the music didnt really change for the next 4 hours but yeah i thought it was okay i guess

had a ball tho - lol mike was loving life hehe great to see.
heard about half an hour of stevo and he was wikkid too.

Totally agree with what you've said: best night of my life: was amazing

the crowd was actually really good as well: as has been said, it wasn't too over-packed, but rather, nicely filled, which was really cool- if you wanted to go get drinks, or to the toilet, you could without worrying about getting back (even being in the front row) which was really great! I thout the attitude of the crowd was pretty good as well (compared to the utter crap that we had to deal with in the front with Ferry), so that was cool too

Yeah I got right up to the front and was having a ball but the visuals were insane so I went back a bit, I also had a bit more room to dance :P

i always used to stay front row, but in europe i didnt and i farken love it at the back especially when theres enough room to swing a cat around and theres no roid boys brushing past you leaving a pool of sweat where they have touched you
